Hey there! It’s Allina again. I hope you’re all doing well! I wanted to share what I’ve been up to while staying with my Nan and Pop. It’s been such a fun time, so here’s what happened each day:
Day 1 My first day driving
On the first day, I had to pack my bag to go to Nan and Pop’s house, and I also packed for my mum’s house too. We drove all the way to where my Nan and Pop live. Once we got there, we unpacked the car and then had lunch together. After that, we played a fun game as a family, which was really nice. Later, we watched a movie and just chilled out. By the time the movie finished, it was dinner time, so we had a lovely meal. After that, we relaxed, watched a little bit of TV, and then I went to bed. It was a pretty chill day!
Day 2 Family time
On day 2, we didn’t do much. It was more of a relaxed day. We stayed home and just took it easy. But we did go out for coffee at nan and pops favorite restaurant which was nice! After that, we went back home and had some fun. We played Bingo and Uno (my favourite games!). Then we had a yummy lunch, watched another movie, and had a delicious dinner. It was a nice, relaxed day, and felt just like Sunday vibes!
Day 3 Going Shopping
On day 3, we decided to go to the shopping centre. Before we started shopping, we went to The Coffee Club to grab a drink and a small bite to eat. After that, we had a look around the shops, but we didn’t buy anything fancy—just some small things to take on the go!. When we got back home, we relaxed and watched a movie. Later, I chatted with my friends and had a good time talking to them. Then we had dinner, spent some time with Nan and Pop, and I went to bed after a busy day.
Day 4 Vinnies shopping
Hi again! It’s Allina, and I’ve been staying at Nan and Pop’s for 3 days now. Today is Wednesday, we are going shopping today. First, we went to The Coffee Club, and Nan and Pop had their coffee. After that, Nan and I went to Kmart to check out all the cool deals. Then we walked across the road to visit the Vinnie’s stores, and I found 2 dresses for super cheap! Once we finished shopping, we headed back home to relax and watch a movie.
Later, I was feeling a little bored, so I decided to make Nan and Pop a thank-you card for letting me stay with them. It took me a while because I wanted to make it as detailed as possible. When I was done, I had a chat with my cousin, and we did our hair and skincare together. At around 1:00 pm, we had lunch. I had a platter with lots of healthy things like eggs, tuna, capsicum, and more! It was so yummy. After lunch, we watched a movie called Yes Day, where the parents say “yes” to everything for a day. It was really funny!
Day 5 Playing board games with nan and pop
Today is Thursday, and we went for coffee. After that, Pop had to drop off the car, so we had to walk home. On the way back, we spotted some more Vinnie’s shops and had a look inside. Then we made our way home. Once we got back, we had lunch and watched a movie called Family Switch. After that, we played games for about an hour without any phones or technology. It was a fun way to spend time together! The rest of the afternoon was just spent relaxing and chilling and packing to go to my mums house.
