Getting to know what Metal Toughness is

When you perform any types of sports you can gain mental toughness and physical fitness, that is very important to our daily life. Developing mental toughness is a continuous process that involves mindset training, and the positive habits. When you do sports you gain self-discipline which means he or she could control their feelings and overcome their weaknesses. Mental Toughness can help your ability to perform consistently under stress or pressure.

What Mental toughness can help you with  

You can gain mental power by focusing on the positives and getting the right sleep amount. To grow your Mental Toughness, you need to face different fears that you do not like. Mental toughness can help you decrease your stress levels which means your cortisol is low that means you can deal with things more calmly. Mental toughness also helps us think positive and not the negative things. We need Mental toughness because it helps us get back into the ups and downs of life.

About controlling my feelings and thinking of the positives

In the last Blog I wrote about when I got upset. I got upset because I had to go on the plane by myself. I don’t think I was being very positive because I was thinking that I didn’t want to go to mums. Sometimes I think that I need to get control of my feelings and find some strategies. On that day I don’t think I had Mental toughness and resilience because I could not control my feelings.

These are some things down below to have metal toughness

Dad tells me that in the Andy Frisella book he says these are some important traits you need to have.

  • Grit- Which means to show up day in and day out and do the little things.
  • Discipline- Which means holding the values and goals that you set.
  • Positivity- which means looking for the upside in situations, not dwelling on mistakes, and offering solutions to problems.
